Starting in mid-December
2004 Alder Creek will be
opening a new downtown
Portland store right on
The Willamette just
upstream of The
Hawthorne Bridge and a
stone's throw North of
OMSI. The down town
Alder Creek will be a
full service paddling
shop just like the North
Portland Alder Creek.
Unlike many other
paddling shops and
outdoor shops in
Portland, Alder
Creek's Downtown Store
will be easy to get to
and it will have
abundant free parking
and a convenient boat
loading area right in
front of the store. Did
we forget to mention,
that
the new store is on the
water?
Having both of our
Portland locations on
the water allows us to
offer instructional
opportunities right out
of the shops, paddle
away rentals and the
opportunity to really
"try before you buy".
