Winter Clinic Series:
How to Read a Nautical Chart
by: Karl Andersson
Where can I go? How should I go? What can I expect to see along the way? What if I have never been there before? These are questions we ask of ourselves before we launch. Many of the answers can be found on a nautical chart. Chart symbols, level of accuracy, dangers, helpful navigation information, distances. This introductory clinic will start you on the path of divining the wealth of wisdom that lies in nautical charts.
